Dan Holdsworth-Continuous Topography

So, how gorgeous can a digital rendering be, well, take a look at Dan Holdsworth latest work:

2000
Made using drone cameras and geo mapping, his series Continuous Topography uses imaging software to create 3D landscapes from hundreds of photos

The works are showing at Scheublein + Bak.

Here an expcert from the show:

“‘Continuous Topography’ is a major new commission from Audemars Piguet that reimagines the Vallée de Joux in the Jura mountains, on the borders of Switzerland and France. The new body of work invites us to reimagine our relationship to time: to the instantaneity of the digital era, to the inconceivable timescales by which the Vallée’s sublime rock formations were first forged, and to a future with or without humanity’s planetary dominance.”
