ARTIST STUDIOS: LOUISE BOURGEOIS

So continuing with my searches for photographs or pictures of artists’ studios I found this article on The Guardian about Louise Bourgeois.

The pictures of her house/ her studio are fabulous. Layers upon layers to see, it’s as if you could catch the multitude of thoughts she had throught time.

Link to the pictures.

When I look at the pics, what I see is, ideas in the cracks of the walls, sculpures in the untidiness of the room. I would go into that house like a detective,  researching for traces of the works done, analysing every little detail and arriving to wrong conclusions just to start again and again. Finding more pleasure in the act of exploration than in the need to find answers. Getting lost in my own reveries.
